Pen Review Pelikan M120 — The Gentleman Stationer

Pelikan M120 Iconic Blue Fountain Pen Review Hey there! SBREBrown

Rating: 8.5/10 3.Nib and Writing Experience - The nib is a vintage monotone steel nib. It has a different design than the vintage 400 nibs; looking more like an Omas, for it is thinner. The Fine lays down a semi wet line that is quite smooth.

It's so easy to clean out and even after being in contact with the plastic for decades it cleans out perfectly. Fast forward to early this year, after several Pelikan acquisitons, I decided that I wanted a Pelikan 100/100N. I contacted Guillaume Chappuis from 123stylo.com because I was told he has a lot of Pelikans - and indeed he has.

The Gentleman Stationer Pen Review: Pelikan M120 December 12, 2018 Pelikan reintroduced its "iconic" M120 fountain pen a couple of years ago, in a green and black color scheme reminiscent of the original M120 school pens that the company manufactured in the 1950s and 1960s.

I'm stunned, shocked, delighted. And I'm pretty sure I'm spoiled now, too. Appearance: The Pelikan Classic M200 is simply exquisite. It has the typical Pelikan shape: mostly cylindrical, but with a slight taper of the barrel toward the ends. The M200 is a piston-filler, so the section and barrel don't separate. The barrel is…well…simply stunning.

The 120 Deskpen is actually a standard 120, with two changes: instead of the round cap top a brass finial with threaded holes for the mounting mechanism had been installed. The piston knob was replaced by an extension. However, in contrast to other Deskpens this model´s cap is still threaded so the pen must be screwed into its mounting. 120 Deskpen

The Pelikan M120 Iconic Blue is a revival of a vintage pen model that Pelikan has made in the 1950s. With a beautifully springy steel nib and a vintage-blue barrel, this piston filling fountain pen that includes a bottle of blue ink is worth taking a look at. Here is its review!

Pelikan M120 Fountain Pen Review 25 April 2016 By ian The original M120 was released in 1955 as a school pen. This reissue keeps the same design but includes a modern piston filling mechanism and has a nib that is etched with a pattern from 1889. Thank you to Pure Pens for lending me this pen in exchange for a fair and honest review.
